All Size Pallets, LLC is a professional pallet specialist, designing and manufacturing pallets for 30 years. We offer a variety of products, varying from regular pallets and heat-treated pallets for industrial, commercial and manufacturing operations.
Why use heat-treated wooden pallets?
Heat-Treated pallets comply with standards. In March of 2002, the United Nations passed the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) treaty. This treaty requires that all solid wood packaging, hardwoods and softwoods, be heat-treated or fumigated before they can be imported into any of the member countries that are part of the convention. This treaty changed the pallet industry drastically.
We are ISPM-15 State certified in heat treating wood containers.
The IPPC edict, known as ISPM-15, gives wood packaging manufacturers the option of heat treatment, requiring that the wood core temperature reaches a minimum 132.8 degrees Fahrenheit, (56 C), for a minimum of 30 minutes. The wood may also be fumigated to a prescribed specification with methyl bromide. Fumigation treatment is becoming looked down upon due to hazards associated with methyl bromide. All pallets that are certified will be stamped with an approved mark signifying that it meets the ISPM-15 standards.
Make the Safe Choice.
Comply with ISPM-15 through heat treating.
Our ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets are the only logical choice for any company involved in international shipping of pallets or goods on pallets. All of our pallets bear the ISPM-15 approved mark to insure that your shipments will not be delayed at international customs due to ISPM-15 concerns
